Negotiations started for the sale of AVOD Mining Company

A.V.O.D. Kurutulmuş Gıda ve Tarım Ürünleri Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. announced the sale of its subsidiary Avod Altın Madencilik on the Public Disclosure Platform.

In the announcement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that "Our company has started negotiations with Switzerland-based AFK Enterprise AG Holding regarding the sale of our subsidiary Avod Altın Madencilik Enerji İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.

Although the company, which has a copper project within the borders of Çorum, started exploration works within the scope of the Çorum project in 2013, it is known that mining activities in the field date back to the 1950s. Within the scope of the project, mapping, geophysical survey and drilling studies were carried out and a resource estimation report was published according to the UMREK Code. According to the resource report, a total of 7.5 million tons of resources were identified, including 2.5 million tons of identified resources with an average copper percentage of 1.43 percent and 5 million tons of potential resources with an average copper percentage of 1.6 percent.
