In a statement released on Monday, June 16, the company announced that the Board of Directors has approved the change of the company’s name from Jindal Steel and Power Limited to Jindal Steel Limited, subject to necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The rebranding decision aims to align the company’s corporate identity more closely with its primary business focus on steel production.
As part of the proposed name change, necessary amendments will also be made to the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association. The company believes that this step will contribute to establishing a stronger and clearer brand identity.
