MMK will produce value-added steel products!

Russian steelmaker MMK announced to Bloomberg HT that the sale of its Turkish affiliate MMK Metalurji is not on the agenda.

In the statement made by the company, it was stated that the Turkish affiliate MMK Metalurji continues its in-group integration with new investments within the MMK Group and said, “As per the MMK Group strategy, the commissioning of the hot complex facility is taking place in Turkey. In this case, the sale of MMK Metalurji Turkey location is not on the agenda. Investments will also continue in line with MMK's growth strategy.” statements were included.

In the statement, he stated that MMK Metalurji will offer not only galvanized and painted but also hot rolled high quality flat steel products with added value in Turkey from now on.

MMK Metalurji, the investment project of MMK Group of Companies in Turkey, which has 65 companies, started its activities in 2007 with an investment in Turkey.

With this investment of 2.3 billion dollars, two facilities were established in Hatay-Dörtyol and Kocaeli-Dilovası regions.

MMK, the 62nd largest company in Turkey in the ISO 500 list, has 1,163 employees and a turnover of 3 billion liras in Turkey. MMK's global turnover is 8 billion dollars.
