Mexico reopens investigation into tariffs on pipes imported from China

Mexico has reopened an investigation into countervailing duties on imports from China on round tubes 101-406 mm in diameter, square tubes 101-406 mm on edge and triangular tubes 152x101 mm and 304x203 mm on edge.

The duty for Chinese companies was set at about $618 per ton. Exceptions include Huludao City Steel Pipe Industrial ($356), Tianjin Huilitong Steel Tube ($506), Tianjin United Steel Pipe ($537).
