Mexican scrap import value decreased y/y

In April 2023, Mexico's scrap import value decreased for two consecutive months. It decreased by 20.1% yoy to USD 121 million.

In the first four months of 2023, scrap import value fell by 13.4% yoy to USD 429 million.

The value of Mexico's scrap exports declined for the seventh consecutive month. In April this year, it amounted to USD 40 million, down by 28.1% compared to the previous month.
