According to official data, the steel production of the Metinvest company amounted to 2,918 million tons, a decrease of 69% compared to the same period of the previous year, and in the fourth quarter of 2022 amounted to 250 thousand tons, a decrease of 2% compared to the previous quarter.
Pig iron production in 2022 decreased by 72% compared to the previous year to 2,743 million tons. Pig iron production also increased by 22% to 270 thousand tons in the third quarter of last year.
The company's iron ore concentrate production amounted 10.81 million tons and coal production amounted 4.96 million tons.
