Manaksia Steels’ Board of Directors approved the company’s unaudited financial results at a meeting held on August 10, 2026, while also granting in principle approval for the expansion of its production facility in Haldia, West Bengal.

The project, which is expected to require an investment of approximately INR 800 crore, is planned to be financed through debt and the company’s internal resources. The two phase expansion will focus on increasing cold rolled coil and coated steel production capacity.

The first phase will include the installation of a second color coating line and a cold rolling mill, while the second phase is expected to further increase the company’s production capacity for specialty steel products.

The company is also evaluating the option of installing a 10 MW solar power plant to support the energy requirements of its expanded operations.

As part of the investment, Manaksia Steels is also applying for special incentives under West Bengal’s new State Industrial Policy, which is expected to come into effect. The implementation schedule of the project will depend on the outcome of the company’s incentive application submitted to the state government.

The company’s 25th Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held via video conference on September 23, 2026.
