Total pig iron production in this quarter of 2023 increased by 65.9% compared to the previous quarter and fell by 75.4% yearly to 448,000 tons.
Metinvest's crude steel production amounted to 491,000 tonnes, up 96.4% quarter-on-quarter and down 77.9% year-on-year.
In the meantime, the group's output of finished steel decreased by 62.7% annually to 547,000 tons. In particular, the production of flat products fell to 285,000 tons, a 74.3% year-over-year decline.
