Megasa temporarily stopped production due to energy costs

Spanish steelmaker Megasa, which has been maintaining production at its Naron and Zaragosa plants with limited operation since November on days when electricity prices are lower, announced that it will stop production at Christmas. It is not known how much production will be lost, stating that stopping production is a temporary solution. It is thought that the supply will not be affected by the cut due to the Christmas holiday.
