During the first half of 2023, total coal production decreased by 24% to 4.5 million tons. Sales of coking coal concentrate decreased by 40% to 1.25 million tons in the first 6 months, but increased by 26% to 699 thousand tons in the second quarter.
The decrease in coke sales amounted to 3%, falling to 1.1 million tons in the first half of the year.
