Malaysia extends anti-dumping duties on products from China

Malaysia has decided to extend anti-dumping duties on steel wire imports from China. Malaysia decided to extend its anti-dumping duties on steel wire imports from China. Looking at exports from the country, the new duty rate is 21.72%. The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry said that the anti-dumping duties were finalized following an administrative review initiated in response to an application filed by Southern PC Steel Sdn Bhd.

The Malaysian government conducted the review to determine whether there was a change in the anti-dumping margin on the specified products imported from China from producers such as Tianjin Dalu Steel Strand For Prestressed Co Ltd. and Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Co Ltd Tianjin.

Imports of steel wires into Malaysia will be subject to duties of 9.07% for Silvery Dragon and 3.12% for Tianjin Dalu.

The revised anti-dumping duties will be collected from February 5, 2025 to December 24, 2026, the statement said.
