LLC Metal Rolling Company plans to increase production of white rolled tinplate

The white tinplate plant in Belarus is planning a significant increase in production in the coming years. Sergei Isayev, General Director of Metal Rolling Company, said that it is planned to produce 72,000 tonnes of products this year, while in 2025-2026 it is aimed to reach a design capacity of 120,000 tonnes by the end of the decade.

The company produced and sold 7,200 tonnes of high-quality white tinplate in March this year, the highest figure in the plant's history over the past four years.

The plant switched from contract manufacturing to its own production from 2023. Last year 63,000 tonnes of white tin was produced and shipped with a profit margin of over 8%.

The company's near-term plans include purchasing additional equipment to increase the speed of material and finished product movement.
