Taiwan follows well behind as China fills its 3B Electrical Sheets quotas

While all of the 29,453/t quota opened for 3B Electrical Sheetsin China has been filled, only 2,321/t of the 23,036/t quota opened for Taiwan has been used. The expected quota amount of 20,715/t remained in Taiwan.

In the sheet group, Chinese quotas are moving fast

From the quota of 122,068/t 4B Metallic Coated Sheets opened for China, 37,292/t was used. The remaining 84,776/t, which is expected to be filled, remained.

The quotas opened for sheet metal in Taiwan are on a slower course compared to China. While only 629/t was used out of the 21,672/t quota opened for Organic Coated Sheets in Taiwan, the expected quota amount was 20,298/t.

In the plate group, Thailand fills its quotas faster

Of the 4.680/t Stainless HR Quarto Plate quota for China, only 321/t was used. The remaining amount of 4,359/t is expected to be filled.

In Taiwan, the quotas for Stainless HR Quarto Sheets are half full. Of the 43,821/t quota for Taiwan, 23,523/t was used. Later in the second quarter, the remaining amount of 20,298/t is expected to be filled.

Japan leads among three countries in Stainless Wire Rod Quotas

A quota of 1,520/t was opened for Japan, which filled one third of the Stainless Wire Rod quotas. While Japan used 459/t of this amount, it was 1.061/t kadi which is expected to be filled back.

In the Stainless Wire Rod quotas opened for China, 233/t was used out of the 1.532/t quota, while 1.299/t remained.

The highest Stainless Wire Rod quota in the Far East region was reserved for Taiwan. A quota of 4,530/t was opened for Taiwan. While 788/t of this amount was used, the remaining amount was 3.742/t.

In the pipe group, Chinese quotas are moving faster than other countries

The quota of 36,544/t opened for Other Seamless Tubes in China has been completely filled.

The quota amount opened for Other Welved Pipes was determined as 7,685/t, and 5.464/t of this amount was used. Only 2,221/t remained.

For Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes, only 879/t quota was opened. While 176/t of this was used, the expected quota amount of 703/t remained.

Other Welved Pipes, 8,577/t quota opened for Taiwan remained at 7,065/t, which is expected to be filled by 1.512/t.

In Japan, the quota for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes  was determined as 1.025/t. While the remaining 957/t quota, which is expected to be filled, remained, 68/t was used in the total quota amount.

The current status of the quota amounts of other products only in China are as follows;

The quota of 133,536/t Merchant Bars and Light Sections opened for China has been filled.

The quota of 6.663/t for Sheet Piling has been filled.

While 839/t of the 1.433/t quota opened for Railway Materials was used, 594/t remained.

While 3.775/t was used from the 25,619/t quota opened for Cold Finished Bars, 21,844/t remained.

Finally, 10,269/t was used from the 75,170/t quota reserved for Non Alloy Wire, leaving 64,801/t expected to be filled.
