In its statement, the company noted that Sarıgül has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors since September 19, 2025, and was appointed to the vacant Deputy Chairman position following the latest board decision.
Sarıgül, a graduate of Business Administration from Gazi University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, began his career in public finance. After serving as an Assistant Tax Inspector, he held various administrative roles within the Tax Inspection Board, contributing to its establishment process.
He later served as Group Manager at the Ankara Tax Office Directorate. In 2019, he was appointed as Acting Head of the Tax Inspection Board, and in 2020, he was officially appointed to the position by Presidential decree, serving until 2021.
Sarıgül has also held various positions in the public and financial sectors, including Chairman of the Board at Turkish Sugar Factories Inc., Board Member at Istanbul Clearing, Settlement and Custody Bank Inc., and Member of the Supervisory Board at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. He also served on several boards within the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Since March 2024, Sarıgül has been serving as an Advisor at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
