The company, which is growing day by day in the sector, continues its investments at full speed and has activated the İzmir wire rod rolling mill in İzmir.
Kar-demir completed the Phase-1 Investment in a short period of 18 months in the integrated steel mill, the foundation of which was laid on 30 August 2020 on a 165,000 m2 land, and made the first casting on 13 May 2022.
Kar-demir has activated its wire rod rolling mill as of April 15, 2023. Kardemir group of companies, which plans to produce coils with an annual capacity of 750 thousand tons, is planned to produce coils between 5.5-25mm, and rebar of 8-32mm.
