Kametstal has shipped 160 thousand tonnes of rolled products since the beginning of the year

One of the largest enterprises of the Ukrainian industrial complex with a full metallurgical cycle is increasing the efficiency of the Kametstal production floor.

Kametstal has shipped 160 thousand tonnes of rolled products since the beginning of the year

In 2024, Kametstal Metallurgical Plant successfully continued its activities, sending about 160 thousand tonnes of products to both domestic and foreign markets. Among these products, the largest share is taken by wire rod with a diameter of 5.5 to 12 mm, circles with diameters of 25, 30 and 40 mm, angles, steel profile and rebar with a diameter of 8 to 36 mm, which are in high demand both in Ukraine and abroad.

Kametstal's rolling mill 400/200, commissioned in April 2014, is actively supplying rolled products to the market.

During 10 years of operation, 119 profile-sized rolled products with a total volume of more than 5 million tonnes were produced, including 2.6 million tonnes of wire rod and more than 2.2 million tonnes of long products and rebar.

Also in March this year, Kametstal produced the first batch of wagon axles of 1.6 thousand tonnes ordered by Ukrainian wagon-building companies.
