July shipments of VMZ steel pipes yielded to last year's level

In July, rail shipments of steel pipes by the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant amounted to 139 thousand tons. In relation to the previous month, their volumes increased by 22%, and on an annualized basis - decreased by 3%.

In general, for the period from January to July, the volume of shipments reached 868.2 thousand tons, which is 20% lower than last year. Almost all products are shipped to the domestic market.

It should be noted that in the structure of shipments, approximately 42% falls on large-diameter pipes. This year, the reduction in the supply of these products amounted to 31%.
