Tokyo Steel, one of the major steelmakers in Japan, increased its scrap procurement prices for Tahara mills.
The company has increased its H2 scrap offers by $22 as of August 27. The price delivered to the Tahara plant stood at $328, while the prices for other plants remained unchanged.
