Japan has made an anti-dumping decision on iron wires from China and South Korea

On December 8, 2022, the Ministry of Finance of Japan issued a positive final decision on anti-dumping (AD) on hot-dip galvanized iron wires originating from China and South Korea, deciding that products from the two countries were discarded and caused significant damage to Japanese domestic industry.

Therefore, an anti-dumping duty of 26.5% -41.7% was imposed on China and 9.8% -24.5% on products from South Korea. This measure will be effective from 8 December 2022 to 7 December 2027.
