Japan and South korea decarbonization space is being launched today

Now adays Asia is shaping up to join the growing decarbonization movement in the steel industry, with steelmakers in the region aiming to be competitive in markets subject to the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) by demonstrating their commitment to environmental and social governance (ESG).

South Korea and Japan are the important pioneers in decarbonization in Asia; A number of steelmakers are already offering green steel products to buyers in the region through a mix of green steelmaking techniques and carbon level calculations , is being launched on Friday 8 September.
