İzmir Iron and Steel announced that it has signed an agreement with Badische Stahl Engineering Gmbh for the installation of an electric arc furnace, worth 10.3 million euros.
In the statement made to KAP;
"With the material event disclosure made on 05.08.2021, we stated that the preliminary contract negotiations regarding the steel mill investment were completed, and the investment, which will start within 2 months, is planned to be realized in the amount of 100 million USD and to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2023.
In addition to the two agreements we mentioned in our previous statement on the supply of main equipment for the investment, an agreement was finally reached with Badısche stahl engineering gmbh for the installation of an electric arc furnace for a price of 10 million 300 thousand euros.
