İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi received double award at export stars night

At the "Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Export Stars Award Ceremony," which honored export successes in the iron and non-ferrous metals sector in 2025, İzmir Iron and Steel Industry Inc. (İDÇ) became one of the standout companies of the night with the awards it received.

İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi received double award at export stars night

The company ranked second overall while achieving first place in steel bar exports, earning two major awards.

With this performance, İzmir Demir çelik was included among the 2025 Crystal Category award winners, and by reaching the top in steel bar exports on a product group basis, it once again demonstrated its strong position in the industry.

A long-standing production strength

İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. is among Türkiye’s well-established steel producers. Founded in 1975, the company manufactures long steel products primarily construction steel at its production facilities in Aliağa. Operating with electric arc furnace technology, İDÇ supplies both domestic and export markets with its high production capacity and modern plant infrastructure.

The company specializes in ribbed construction steel, wire rod, and various long steel products, standing out particularly for its production aimed at construction and infrastructure projects.

Steady growth in exports

Thanks to its extensive export network, İzmir Demir Çelik delivers products to many markets, especially in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Production in line with international standards, a quality-focused approach, and strong logistics capabilities are among the key factors enhancing the company’s competitiveness in global markets.

The export performance achieved in 2025 showed that the company maintained its strong stance despite weak global demand and cost pressures. Ranking second overall highlighted its strength in total export volume, while its product-based leadership confirmed its expertise in specific segments.

İDÇ’s first-place ranking in steel bar exports clearly demonstrated its leadership in its core product group. At the same time, its inclusion in the Crystal Category crowned its overall export success.
