In announcing first-quarter results for fiscal 2023, InfraBuild said it will raise funding to acquire the wire rod facilities of Keystone Consolidated Industries, Johnstown Wire Technologies and GFG in Georgetown.
The acquisition is in InfraBuild's La Place, La. and recycling facilities in Tampa, Fla. These facilities were previously acquired by the GFG Alliance.
Dak Patel, interim CEO of InfraBuild, said: "With planned acquisitions in the US wire rod and rebar market, we will develop our core competencies, expand our existing US operations, diversify our revenue streams. These acquisitions will combine them with a shared mission for strong market positions in Australia and the US."
