With the motto "Unlock hard-to-reduce sectors and secure decarbonization contracts", the Industry Transition event provided a great opportunity for executives, decision makers and implementation teams to explore the latest developments in the decarbonization field. More than 300 senior executives attended the event.
The fundamental role of innovation was a key theme at Industry Transition USA, an event that promotes the development of environmentally friendly technologies and practices with a focus on decarbonization in the energy and industry sectors. Speakers at the event gave a presentation on how Combined Heat and Power Generation can achieve carbon emission reduction targets. The event addressed the topic of steel. Discussions were held on how to facilitate the energy transition for hard-to-reduce sectors, turning them into circular and sustainable industries.
The event also featured representatives from Port of New Orleans, CIBC Capital Markets, Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and the US Department of Energy (DOE) discussing the role of infrastructure in the US transition to net zero.
