Industries Qatar, announces acquisition of 100% shares of Al-Qataria Steel

The Board of Industries Qatar Corporation has stated that it has accepted the possibility of acquiring 100% shares of Al-Qataria Steel for Qatar Steel's rebar production.

Since its establishment in 2003, Industries Qatar has emerged as one of the leading industrial conglomerates globally with comprising of four major companies, Industries Qatar operates across three distinct segments, namely petrochemicals, chemical fertilizers, and iron and steel products. With a diversified portfolio, the company has achieved significant growth and established itself as a prominent player in the global industrial landscape.

Many of these companies have tended towards company growth by investing in subsidiaries and joint ventures. The Board of Industries Qatar Corporation has recently announced its acceptance of the potential acquisition of 100% shares of Al-Qataria Steel that would strengthen Qatar Steel's rebar production capabilities.
