On February 6, 2023, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee announced that it has launched an anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation for hot rolled steel coils originating from China, India, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Taiwan and China. According to the sources, Thailand reported that the investigation has started upon the request of local Indonesian company PT Krakatau Steel.
The products in question are recorded as 7208.10.00, 7208.25.00, 7208.26.00, 7208.27.11, 7208.27.19, 7208.27.91, 7208.27.99, 7208.36.00, 7208.37.00, 7208.38.70.00, 7208.38.38.00, 10, 7208.39.20, 7208.39.30, 7208.39.40, 7208.39.90, 7208.90.10, 7208.90.20 and 7208.90.90.
On April 9, 2019, Indonesia decided to maintain 0-20% AD duties on the products in question from the above-mentioned seven countries.
