According to the report, India's crude steel production increased by 12.1% annually in the January-November 2023 period, reaching 128.2 million tons. Global steel production reached 1,715.1 million tons with a modest increase of 0.5% in this period.
India's strong performance reflects its contribution to increasing demand and production capacity in the global steel industry.
