In recent years, export rates have increased in the mining sector in Algeria

According to the statements of Mohammad Sakhar Harami, president and general manager of the Algerian Mines Authority, the Algerian Mine Manal, which operates in the mining sector, increased its export value by 110% this year compared to 2021 and realized exports worth $ 216 million.

Exports of the Algerian Mine (Manal) have increased significantly in recent years. From $ 57 million in 2020, it increased to $ 103 million in 2021, then increased to $216 million in 2022. These results have been achieved with the implementation of the Manal plan, especially the realization of new projects and the increase of existing production capacities. This increase is expected to continue in 2023, the institution is expected to record a new increase in turnover this year and reach 49.3 billion dinars from 44.3 billion dinars. According to the statement of Rashid Abshesh, the representative of National Mining Activities, the demand for lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper, and rare minerals will increase in the first place.
