IDIS system malfunction leads to shipment problems in iron and steel sector

The malfunction in the IDIS system continues to create difficulties in the iron and steel sector. The inability to upload labels to the products coming out of production is stated as a delay caused by the Ministry of Treasury. While no announcement has been made on how long it will take to resolve the problem, factories are trying to manually ship the products in stock as the system is completely disabled.

Some traders have halted shipments altogether, while others are keeping a record of labels to upload later. However, large sellers prefer to wait for the system to be fixed. In Samsun, the problems are said to have been largely resolved and shipments are on their way in the morning. In Izmir, the problem persists and uploads are being done manually, but progress is very slow. The same problem continues in Payas and Istanbul.

While this situation affects sales by causing shipment disruptions in the sector, results are expected from the authorities as soon as possible about the improvement works on the system.
