IDEF International Defense Industry Fair opened its doors in Istanbul

IDEF 2025, Türkiye's largest defense industry gathering, started in Istanbul with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Hosted by the Presidency of Defence Industries, the exhibition will bring together industry representatives, leading companies and official delegations from around the world for six days.

National Power and Vision in the Field

IDEF 2025 is not only an event where new technologies are exhibited, but also a concrete reflection of Türkiye's defense vision, which is shaped by the understanding of independence and future. “This important fair is the manifestation of our indigenous engineering power, strategic imagination and diplomatic agility on a global level,” stated the President of the Defense Industry at the opening of the fair, drawing attention to the strategic importance of the fair.

The Gateway from Technology to Diplomacy

IDEF 2025 offers a platform for the presentation of a wide range of products and systems, from air, land and naval platforms to ammunition and security solutions, electronic systems and unmanned vehicles. The event also offers important opportunities for the development of international cooperation, technology transfer and expansion into new markets.

From Static Demonstration to Dynamic Cooperation

This year, the fair is being organized on a wide area stretching from Atatürk Airport to Ataköy Marina. Participants will have the chance to experience both static product exhibitions and dynamic launches and demonstrations. In addition, high-level delegation meetings, bilateral cooperation and export-oriented sessions will showcase Türkiye's multifaceted vision in the defense industry.
