Hyundai Steel, a steelmaker in South Korea, reported that its revenue reached 5,150 billion won in the third quarter of this year, up 5.8 percent from the previous quarter. The unconsolidated net profit of the company was announced as roughly 567 billion won.
In addition, Hyundai Steel's production and sales fell during the period due to seasonal factors and strikes by some subcontractors. In the said period, total production decreased by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter to approximately 4.62 million tons, while the figure increased by 1.9% year-on-year.
