Hyundai Steel is preparing to lower its scrap purchase price on April 19 for Pohang works, Steel Daily reported.
The company has reduced its purchase price of all grades of steel scrap by KRW 5,000/ton ($4/t).
However, the company's offers for imported Japanese scrap remained unchanged.
