Hoa Phat Group increased sales in December

Hoa Phat Group, Vietnam's largest steel producer, reported that sales of steel products, including construction steel, hot-rolled coil (HRC) and billet, rose about 26% in December last year to about 558,000 tons.

For all of 2022, Hoa Phat Group's steel sales, including construction steel, hot sheet metal and billet, down by 7% y-o-y to 7.2 million tonnes.

Hoa Phat said crude steel production is expected to exceed 14 million tons by 2025.
