In line with the new regulation, investors themselves will be able to prepare a roadmap containing the green transformation steps to be implemented on a facility basis within the framework of the green transformation strategy. Within the scope of this roadmap, investors will have the opportunity to submit one or more projects to be realized during the implementation process. However, the roadmap must include one or more project proposals covering a period of at least 5 years.
If there is a previous and ongoing application for the same investment address or if there is an open investment incentive certificate for that address, a new application cannot be made for that address. In addition, if deficiencies in terms of form are detected during the application process, investors will be given the opportunity to make corrections again.
Within the scope of the Communiqué, in order to ensure project integrity, solar or wind energy-based electricity generation facility investments to be made in accordance with the Decree on State Aids in Investments can also be included in the projects. However, these investments will not be included in the investment incentive certificates to be issued under the program and will not be taken into account in the calculation of investment size.
The regulation aims to provide investors with more flexibility and accelerate green transformation practices.
