KCI World, which wants to create a reliable source of information in the emerging green steel and hydrogen sectors, published Green Steel World magazine in June 2022, immediately after publishing Hydrogen Tech World magazine in November 2021. Now, the two brands are preparing to join forces with face-to-face events in Essen, Germany on 4 and 5 April 2023.
Each brand will have its own conference program and a dedicated exhibition venue, but all of this will be held in a single exhibition hall. Visitors who purchase just a single ticket (69 EUR) will have instant and full access to both conferences and will also be able to interact with all attendees.
Commenting on the Green Steel World event, editor Tanya Rudra comments: "This is an event that gathers the entire green steel community under one roof at the same time. A unique window of opportunity to work with a wide range of experts involved in the decarbonisation of the entire steel supply chain. The city of Essen, located in the industrial heart of Germany, home to many leading steelmakers determined to be at the forefront of the energy transition, is the perfect venue for the Green Steel World Expo & Conference."
The appeal of the combined events is highlighted by the strong list of speakers to take part in. To name a few: Rosalinde Van Der Vlies (Director of the Clean Planet Directorate of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation), Joachim von Schéele (Global Director for Commercialization, Linde), Luc Graré (International Business Director, Lhyfe) and Thijs de Groot (Technology Developer, HyCC) will take part in the event.
