Gazprom's natural gas exports decreased by 28.5 percent

Russian energy company Gazprom reported that natural gas exports decreased by 28.5 percent between January 1 and March 15 compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the statement made by Gazprom, the company's natural gas production in the first 2.5 months of the year did not change compared to the same period of the previous year, while natural gas exports decreased.

According to the preliminary data, the company's natural gas production remained unchanged and was recorded as 111.5 billion cubic meters.

In the said period, the company's natural gas exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) decreased by 28.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 30.7 billion cubic meters.

In the 2.5 months of the year, exports to Turkey were 21.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, 51.7 percent to Italy, 71.8 percent to Poland, 110.9 percent to Croatia and 34.6 percent to Greece. It increased.

In the statement, it was pointed out that the occupancy rate of the underground natural gas storage facilities in Europe was 26.2 percent.
