The new contracts are expected to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two companies while contributing to the United Kingdom's domestic manufacturing capabilities in the aerospace and defense industries.

Under the agreements, all materials and components will be manufactured at SMP's facilities in Sheffield. The company stated that these investments will support the UK's manufacturing capabilities in critical industrial sectors while also contributing to the local economy.

SMP CEO Andy Richardson said that the contracts are a significant demonstration of confidence in the company's production capacity and technical expertise, adding that SMP aims to continue its long-standing partnership with Rolls-Royce in the years ahead.

Meanwhile, the multi-year agreements are expected to support SMP's investments in its production infrastructure, workforce, and technological capabilities. The company aims to further strengthen its position in the field of high-performance specialty metals used in the aerospace and defense sectors.

The agreements signed between SMP and Rolls-Royce are said to reflect a long-term commitment to meeting the requirements of future production programs. They are also expected to contribute to strengthening the United Kingdom's strategic industrial supply chain.
