Turkish rebar prices continue to decrease. The shrinking demand for rebar has a negative impact on scrap and semi-finished product prices.
The factories, which could not prevent the decrease in rebar prices, stated that they would base their sales on the free market rate. Accordingly, the exchange rate taken by the producers today was 19.50.
While İçdaş Biga kept the prices of 12-32mm iron at $720 and flat wire rod prices at $740, Istanbul iron prices were announced in the range of $705-710, showing a $5-10 decrease compared to yesterday.
The producers in the Izmir region, on the other hand, did not announce the price because there was no demand, but the list price that can be taken as a basis for this region is considered to be around $715.
