The company’s crude steel production declined from 8.54 million tons in 2024 to 8.09 million tons in 2025. This decrease of approximately 5.3% was also reflected in the company’s position within the global ranking.
The published data indicate that while Erdemir recorded a modest decline in production volume, it maintained its position among Türkiye’s leading steel producers.
According to the World Steel Association’s 2025 ranking of the world’s largest steel producers, the top five positions were occupied by China Baowu Group in first place, ArcelorMittal in second, Nippon Steel Corporation in third, Ansteel Group in fourth, and HBIS Group in fifth place.
