EIB increased exports in October

The Aegean Exporters' Associations (EİB) recorded an increase of 4 percent with an export figure of 1 billion 482 million dollars in October. Türkiye's exports increased by 7.4 percent. In the January-October period of 2023, the export figure reached 15 billion 157 million dollars by the Aegean Exporters' Associations. EİB's exports in the last 1 year increased by 1.6 percent from 18 billion 58 million dollars to 18 billion 340 million dollars.

EİB's exports in the agricultural sector, which increased the exports of industrial sectors by 7.6 percent in October from 716 million dollars to 770 million dollars, increased by 1.5 percent from 619 million dollars to 629 million dollars. Mining sector exports were recorded at 82.9 million dollars.

Aegean Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association maintained its first place in the Aegean Exporters' Associations with 191 million 250 thousand dollars of exports.

Türkiye's export loss in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sectors amounted to 9.5 billion dollars in the last year. While the Aegean Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association realized an export figure of 2 billion 540 million dollars in 2022, it exported 2 billion 523 million dollars on a yearly basis.
