Dana Steel hosted a delegation from the Emirates Development Bank (EDB) and Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX) at its KEZAD facility. The visit was seen as a strong example of the role advanced manufacturing investments play in supporting the UAE’s industrial growth.
With the support of EDB, the company is planning to establish a new steel complex in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The investment, which is expected to have an annual rolling capacity of 500,000 tons, aims to boost local production and reduce reliance on imports.
The visit was attended by EDB CEO Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi and Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi from ADFD and ADEX. It was noted that such collaborations contribute to the country’s “Made in UAE” focused industrial goals.
