While spot rebar prices remained unchanged across Türkiye, producers showed limited signs of recovery, particularly in the Marmara region.

Daily analysis of Turkish long products | July 14, 2026

Average rebar offers from Marmara producers increased by USD 5/mt, while imported billet prices held steady at USD 495/mt CFR Türkiye. Wire rod and structural steel markets remained largely stable, with price adjustments announced by İçdaş mainly reflecting exchange rate movements rather than changes in base prices.

Overall Assessment

As of July 14, Türkiye's long steel market remained broadly stable. Spot rebar prices were unchanged, while the USD 5/mt increase in average producer offers from the Marmara and Iskenderun regions indicated a limited attempt by mills to improve pricing. Meanwhile, imported billet prices held at USD 495/mt CFR Türkiye, reflecting the continued weakness in demand for semi-finished products.

Wire rod and structural steel markets also remained largely unchanged. Price revisions announced by İçdaş were primarily exchange rate-driven rather than reflecting higher base prices, suggesting that underlying domestic pricing remained broadly stable. Overall, the market continues to be characterized by weak demand, cautious purchasing activity, and efforts by producers to maintain price stability.
