Worldsteel's global crude steel data reveals that the Czech Republic ranked 39th in 2023 with 3.4 million tons, compared to 35th in 2021 and 2022.
According to Worldsteel data for 2023, crude steel production increased worldwide, while Czech crude steel production decreased by -21.1% compared to the world as a whole.
According to these figures, Czechia, which produced 4.8 million tons of crude steel in 2021, recorded crude steel data for 2022 as 4.3 million tons. The country, which has experienced a decrease in crude steel production in the past years, continued to decrease consistently by producing 3.4 million tons in 2023.
It is also revealed that Czechia surpassed the United Arab Emirates, which ranked last in the world crude steel production list for 2023, producing 3.2 million tons.
