The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has announced the construction cost index data for November 2025. According to the data, construction costs increased by 1.14% month-on-month and 23.93% as yearly in November.
On a monthly basis, the materials index rose by 1.7%, while the labor index increased by 0.12%. On an annual basis, materials costs increased by 20.48%, while labor costs reached 30.98%.
Building Construction Costs Continue to Rise
The building construction cost index increased by 1.14% compared to the previous month and 23.5% compared to the same month of the previous year in November 2025. Within this category, the materials index increased by 1.69% as monthly , while the labor index increased by 0.17%. On an annual basis, materials costs increased by 20.03%, while labor costs rose by 30.37%.
Higher Increase in Non-Building Structures
For non-building structures, the construction cost index increased by 1.14% as monthy and 25.33% as yearly in November. In this category, the materials index increased by 1.72% on a monthly basis, while the labor index declined slightly by 0.04%. On an annual basis, materials costs increased by 21.9%, while labor costs increased by 33.14%.
The November 2025 data show that both material and labor costs remain elevated, with annual increases particularly in labor costs continuing at a strong pace.
