Çolakoğlu Metalurji maintained its place in ISO 500

“Türkiye's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises (ISO 500)” announced by the İstanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) According to the 2024 results, Çolakoğlu Metalurji, one of the strong players in the iron and steel industry, maintained its 14th place in the list.

Çolakoğlu Metalurji, which ranked the same last year, increased its production-based sales from TRY 61.4 billion in 2023 to TRY 88.4 billion in 2024. The company, which increased its net sales from TRY 61.4 billion to TRY 88.5 billion in the same way, exhibited a steady growth by keeping its position in the list stable despite the increase in sales volume.

With a production capacity of 3 million tons of liquid steel and 4.5 million tons of hot rolled steel, Çolakoğlu Metalurji produces a wide range of products from billet to slab, hot rolled coil to rebar. In 2007, Çolakoğlu Metalurji pioneered advanced technologies in the sector by realizing the largest arc furnace investment of the period, and with the sheet rolling mill investment made in 2010, Çolakoğlu Metalurji is the first company in Türkiye to produce coils using the slab produced by the electric arc furnace.

In the iron and steel industry ranking for 2024, İskenderun Demir Çelik (İSDEMİR) ranked 8th with production-based sales of TRY 109.9 billion, followed by Ereğli Demir Çelik (ERDEMİR) in 9th place with TRY 103.6 billion. Tosyalı Demir Çelik A.Ş., on the other hand, rose from 57th to 15th place with production-based sales of TRY 85.7 billion.
