According to data collected by SteelRadar from the International Trade Centre (ITC), China's rebar exports in July 2024 increased by 238.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, increasing from 119,336 tons to 403,836 tons.
Total rebar exports in the January-July period of 2024 increased by 109.7% year-on-year, from 921,368 tons to 1,931,758 tons.
Hong Kong was the major rebar export destination of China in January-July with 144,982 tons, followed by Mongolia with 90,414 tons and Singapore with 40,200 tons. Compared to the same month of last year, China's total exports in July this year increased by 238.4% from 119,336 tons to 403,836 tons.
