China's crude steel production increased

In October, China's crude steel production was approximately 79.8 million tons, up 11% compared to the same month of the previous year; Pig iron production was 70.8 million tons, up 11.9% y-o-y.

In the first ten months of this year, China's crude steel and pig iron production totaled approximately 860.6 million tons and 726.9 million tons, down 2.2% and 1.2% y-o-y, respectively.
