China's Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that it will offer a zero tariff policy for 98% of products from 10 countries.
These are the least developed countries, including Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Malawi, Sao Tome and Principe, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
The new tariff will come into effect on December 1, 2022. The related products are specified in document No. 8 received from the China Customs Tariff Commission in 2021 and contain a total of 8,786 HS codes.
