According to data obtained by SteelRadar from the European Commission, China and India used all of their quotas in two and three product categories, respectively, while both countries also consumed most of their quotas in some of the other categories.
China used 99.9% of its quota of 155,753 tons of merchant bars and light sections, 7,984 tons of pipes (other welded) and 12,128 tons of sheet piling, while using 126,811 tons of 4b metallic coated sheets and 4,969 tons of stainless hr quarto sheets.
India used 99.9% of its quota of 31,384 tons of stainless bars and light sections, while India used 53,047 tons of 4a metallic coated sheets, 77,735 tons of organic coated sheets and 5,815 tons of stainless pipes (seamless).
Quotas transferred to two countries;
India used 141,604 tons of its 302,906 tons of crc quota, 53,047 tons of 4a metallic coated sheets 889 tons, 149,231 tons of 4b metallic coated sheets 73,490 tons, 77,735 tons of organic coated sheets 7 tons, 75. 339 tons of stainless hr quarto sheet quota, 2,157 tons of stainless wire rod quota of 9,457 tons, 259,944 tons of hrc quota of 55,088 tons.
Steel giant China, on the other hand, transferred 20,008 tons of its 50,606-ton quota of 3b silicon steel sheet, 17,029 tons of its 155,753-ton quota of commercial bar and light section, 5,205 tons of its 12,128-ton sheet pile quota, 747 tons of its 2,236-ton quota of railway materials, 1. 716 tons of stainless pipe (seamless), 32,141 tons of 58,755 tons of cold drawn bar, 46,577 tons of 124,669 tons of non-alloy steel wire.
