Brazil's rebar exports and imports fell in April

Export volume decreased by 57.6

In April this year, Brazilian rebar exports stood at around 2,500 tons, down by 57.6% compared to April 2022. Of these exports, 98.8% shipped to Bolivia, Paraguay and Peru.

In the first four months of this year, Brazil's rebar exports fell by 29% y-o-y to around 142,000 tons.

Import volume down to 4,800 tons

Brazil's rebar imports fell by 7.5% from April 2022 to 4,800 tons.

In the first four months of this year, Brazil's rebar imports fell by 2.6% yoy to around 40,000 tons.
